Yes because the 2-finger doubletap is supposed to stop, not pause. I've run
into that same problem.

After updating to iOS 10, when I am in an application like Spotify or
VoiceDream and do a two finger double tap to pause, it instead brings
up the dictation function of siri, even though there is no field to
deit. I can only pause and unpause this way on the lock screen. Anyone
know what the deal is?
