I have my Gmail setup with labels and filters through the web view. However when I lookat my mail on the iPhone, the labels don't appear along side each message like they do in the web view of Gmail. I can generally tell which list the message is from by the subject of the message. And, if I can't, then I will save that message to be read later on the computer. All the labels are still there with the messages, but they aren't being read on the iPhone in the Mail app like they are read in web view of Gmail. Go figure.
