Yes, so have I and I have never lost voicemail when I’ve upgraded.

I've never had voicemail disappear on me, nor emails. I do make certain to do an encrypted backup in iTunes before updating to any iOS version, however. I would recommend doing so. Also, do you have visual voicemail enabled, or are you using your carrier's voicemail option? I don't think using your carrier's voicemail option would make any difference, but ever since I got my first iPhone, I've always used the visual voicemail option, and it's worked well for me.
