Did this update fix the problem with the cursor not moving when editing text in an edit field? I still am running 10.0.1 until they get this situation resolved.
Thanks for any information. Amit Chowdhry Apple has released iOS 10.1.1 to the general public today. The iOS 10.1.1 update comes one week after iOS 10.1 was released. The reason why Apple quickly issued this software update is because it fixes a bug that Forbes contributor Gordon Kelly reported exclusively last week. Apple declined to reply to requests to acknowledge the bug until now. You can install iOS 10.1.1 by connecting your device to iTunes or downloading it by going to Settings > General > Software Update. The iOS 10.1.1 update is available for the following devices: iPhone 5 and later, iPad 4th generation and later and iPod touch 6th generation and later. What Is Included In The Update? The software update is relatively small at under 70MB, which indicates that it is a minor update with a few bug fixes. There weren’t any betas of iOS 10.1.1 either. And the changelog of the iOS 10.1.1 software update says: “This update fixes bugs including an issue where Health data could not be viewed for some users.” There were many complaints about health data not being visible following the iOS 10.1.1 update within the Apple Communities forum so it is a relief that Apple turned around a fix in a short amount of time: And Forbes contributor Gordon Kelly said that he was contacted by many people directly “with stories of hours spent on the phone to Apple tech support, all without resolution.” Many Twitter users also said that they attempted to reboot and factory reset the devices, but the Health app data did not reappear: iOS 10.1 was somewhat of a major update. iOS 10.1 included a “Portrait” mode, which helps make the most out of the dual cameras in the iPhone 7 Plus. The Portrait camera mode essentially utilized the wide-angle and telephoto iPhone 7 lenses in a way to create portraits with depth effects. This makes the subjects of the photos look sharp while also creating blurred backgrounds, known as “bokeh” effects. iOS 10.1 also included Transit directions for Apple Maps in Japan. And iOS 10.1 also added a “Reduce Motion” setting for the Bubble and Screen effects in the Messages app. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
