I have some questions regarding a mac. However, I don't know if this can be discussed on this list. If not, could someone please direct me to a list where I can discuss this? A great friend of mine has a Mac laptop. I don't know exactly what type it is. She didn't mention that, because she probably didn't think to do so. But if I understand correctly, there are different types. Am I correct about this? Anyway, she wants me to have it. I've been wanting a Mac for some time now. But I just don't have that kind of money, and it would take me quite a long time to save up for one. Should I consider getting this laptop? She says it works well, though I would most likely need to replace the battery. That's fine with me, as I need to replace the windows 7 laptops battery I am using now. She says that the laptop uses Yosemite, and that it can not be upgraded.. And why would it most likely not be able to be upgraded? So does this mean that any Apps I may want to add, will likely not work? And what kind of Apps does someone use on a Mac? I don't even know where to begin learning how to use one. I have absolutely no experience. But I would like to try, if at all possible. Any thoughts, or suggestions from you all, would definitely be appreciated. I go to see her on Saturday.
