Just to be clear, BARD braille books are not and never have been designed to be read by anything but a braille display. In fact, when using a braille display, you have to set it to uncontracted braille because if you try and use contracted braille it is attempting to contract things that are already contracted. To have a device read one of their brf files, it would have to be set to read computer code out loud, since, for example, the symbol for "t h e" is an exclamation mark, 'it would have to know that when it comes across an exclamation mark to speak that as those letters instead of treating it as a punctuation mark.
