Hi Mario,

You write this email complaining about Apple not fixing things. I would like to
ask you a question. How many times have you emailed or talked to Apple support
on issues you are having. I would be willing to bet you are a whiner and
complainer about a lot of other things but you don’t try and solve any of them.
If you have contacted Apple support many times to report issues then I
apologize to you. If you have not reported any issues and you are so unhappy
with Apple then why don’t you get an Android phone?

So by whining and complaining is never going to solve anything. So either email
Apple support or call them and tell them in a nice way what the issue is.
Otherwise what good does it do to send an email to this group whining and
complaining. Nothing is perfect in this world.

Mr. Ed

Thanks friend
Someone had to say it.
It's time to revolt against the irresponsibility Apple has been having in
recent years.
Patience also runs out.
And mine is long gone.
note:
I do not respond to fan boys' replies.

It's just my opinion and I'm entitled to it.
cheers.

How do you know that apple is looking to it?

Apple always looks, but never solves ...

Is that right?

cheers.

Hello all, I see the behavior on my iPhone 7 as well. As most of the numbers I
call are in my contacts, I don't have too much difficulty. However, if there
are prompts involved, the only way to do this is to swipe to the keypad button
and activate it.

Hi Sieghard.

I don't have the problem at all on my iPhone 6 s but my friend has a 7 and she
does have the problem.

The problem is that the keypad disappears once the call is connected.

It happens if she uses Siri to make the call and it also happens if she goes in
to the phone appp and selects the keypad dials the call manually as well.

Once the call connects the keypad disappears.

She is not a good iPhoneuser yet and by the time she fines and enables the
keypad again its probably to late.

My phone does not do this at all.

Its frustrating when you need to tenter touch tones to answer menu prompts etc.

Many people have this issue and many don't.

Apple is looking in to it but I don't think they know why it happens for some
and not others.

Thanks.

Don

Hi Don and others,

Is this something a lot of people experience? I haven't noticed any difference
on my 6S Plus ever since I started using iOS 10, I am not using the current
10.2 beta so unless it's a problem here, what is exactly the issue?

When I make or receive a call I may have to tap to bring up the keypad, but
that has always been the case at times, but most of the time the keypad is
there and I actually have to hide it if I want access to any of the other
buttons.

Regards,

Sieghard

I supposeits to soon to tell but I am wondering if the issue where the keypad
disappears on a phone call when it shouldn't has been resolved?

This is an issue appple is aware of but I suspect they haven't nailed it down
yet so not getting my hopes up.
