Same here, for me the regular Earpods work great, I can put them in and shake
my head and they still don't fall out. I was very tempted to order the Airpods,
but given the price I think I may just wait until the fall since I wouldn't be
surprised if the next generation of these came out with more controls. For me
the fact that all I can do is invoke SIRI is a bit of a deal-breaker. I guess I
should say you have a choice, you can tap; them either to invoke SIRI or you
can set it to do Play/Pause, but for anything else such as volume up/down,
track forward/trewind etc. you need to put out your phone and up North here
where in the winter I wear gloves and my phone is often under a couple of
layers of clothing having remote controls on my headphones for me is pretty
essential. A lot of people seem to think the same thing and technologically I
think there is no reason why Apple couldn't incorporate several touch gestures
to accomplish various tasks.

Sieghard

Subject: Re: I Fell For The AirPods

They are very similar to the wired earpods, both in shape and sound. As for the
shape, the best I can describe the part that goes into the ear would be to say
that is is as if they took a pair of pliers and squeezed it slightly, making
it slightly longer and thinner. I always have liked the wired earpods, but for
those who don't like them, I definitely would recommend testing these air pods
before buying, if possible.

I have a question. I have never liked the traditional earbuds that apple
released--the hard, round plastic ones--as they enver stayed put in my ears.
But most people are saying these staty put. is there something that helps this
be the case?

Thanks!
