Terri,
I think the Apple Lightning to 30-Pin Adapter (MD823AM/A) for $19.50 from Amazon is what you need. This adapter has a male lightning plug on one end to plug into your iPhone and a 30-pin old-style Apple female port on the other end. The Amazon description says it's an Apple product and should work for charging. Here's the link to it at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Apple-Lightning-30-Pin-Adapter-MD823AM/dp/B014854UWG/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics <https://www.amazon.com/Apple-Lightning-30-Pin-Adapter-MD823AM/dp/B014854UWG/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1484795272&sr=1-2&keywords=apple+30+pin+to+lightning+adapter> &ie=UTF8&qid=1484795272&sr=1-2&keywords=apple+30+pin+to+lightning+adapter That link is pretty long so here is a TinyURL to the same page: http://tinyurl.com/jmb9fya Good luck. Quite a while back, I asked what type of adaptor I needed, in order to make my 5S work with my older IPod doc. Well someone told me what exactly I needed. I thought I saved the message. I am trying to start to do that, in order to not ask the same questions again. But unfortunately, I don't seem to have the message. The other day, while at a store, I learned that they had some chargers. They were affordable, and so I bought 3 of them. Unfortunately, they are the type for the older IPhones. I certainly would not have purchased them, if I had known this. But I couldn't view them, due to the packaging. I unfortunately can not take them back, even though 2 of them were never opened. But they see them as ellectronics. So I just figured I would make the best of the situation, and use them. So if someone could please let me know what exact type of adaptor I need, I would really appreciate this. I do wish the charging cords were a bit longer. But my products seem to charge more quickly with the shorter charging cords. By the way, with the adaptor on the cord, will this possibly slow down how fast the product can charge?
