Andrew,
Are you trying to do more than one page at a time?
If so, try turning on the Document Stand profile and turning on batch mode. You
will have to double tap on take picture for the first page, then after that as
you move one page away, and place another page on the stand, and nothing moves
for a few seconds, your phone will beep, and it will take the next picture.
Repeat those steps until you are done, then double tap the done button I think
it is called.
If you are doing one page only, try Sieghard's method with the profile set to
automatic.I think the process of starting with the phone flat on the document
and raising it up allows the autofocus of the camera to know when the page is
focused, where having it on the stand, doesn't work.
HTH,
Richard

Sorry, I have no idea then why this doesn't work for you, you might want to ask
their support, the only thing I do is to change the profile.

Subject: KNFB reader

I have been playing with settings of all kinds with the KNFB reader. I am
using the latest IOS with the 6s but, I, for the Love of me cannot get the
automatic feature to work. I have the phone on the stand, the lense cover is
not covered and I am certain that there is text visible....The option is
changed from manual to automatic but, nothing happens. I have no problem with
tapping on take picture. I know this works but, I just don't know what else to
try. Is there something possible in accessibility in General that needs to be
turned on? Thank you in advance if you can take the time to suggest a
solution. Andy and Shubert
