Viphone group, Question related to the native mail app running iOS 10.2.1 on an iPhone 6. So I have email addresses that show up in the auto complete of people that I used to converse with quite sometime ago. I know that you can double tap on the more info icon next to the email address, and double tap on remove from recents.
My question is: I have gotten rid of those email addresses before they keep showing up each time if I have to delete my email account for some reason ( and set it up again.) why do the addresses keep showing up if I have already clicked remove from recents. I double checked that under Gmail contacts are switched to on , these individuals do not show up on the list. And, they are not on the computer contacts list either. My guess, is that maybe the iPhone just remembers that I have conversed with these individuals in the past. It goes ahead and saves the email address?
