Hi folks,

I have recently purchased a Bluetooth keyboard, the Logitek k380 I think it is.
It's great, I love typing on it when I have the space for it. However, I've
noticed a very annoying thing happens when I don't have the keyboard with me. I
can't turn off quick nav in edit fields on Iphone 7, Ios 10.2.1 or whatever the
latest build is. So, I'm stuck. I can't type using the touch screen, can't
dictate a text of any great length using Siri, and generally can't do, well,
anything that involves texting or looking up restaurants or sharing Shazams
with people because I can't type or dictate their name into the phone.

I've tried looking similar issues up online but really haven't had any luck
other than someone suggesting to turn off Bluetooth and then restart the phone.
Or I could unpair the keyboard. But neither of those suggestions worked. I have
researched the manuals for voiceover gestures and the latest I can find that is
comprehensive is from 2012, the one from Axs Lab. There doesn't seem to be any
sort of quick nav option. Or, in the case of my smart beetle, to hide and show
the keyboard. I tried a split tap on the text field, no luck.

The only way I've found to turn off quick nav and restore function to my touch
screen for typing is to, when I get home or wherever I've left either my smart
beetle or my logitek keyboard, is to, naturally, execute the quick nav toggle
hotkey. That's great, but it certainly doesn't do me any good for however long
my hardware device and I have been separated.

Does anyone have any suggestions for circumventing this issue, besides the
obvious of, bring your beetle or logitek wherever you go?

Thanks, Dave
