I haven't gotten alerts from T-Mobile, but I have also turned off the government/Amber alerts. Like others, I use other apps for weather notifications, like Dark Sky and NOAA Weather International. I think I have the free Red Cross Tornado app to send tornado alerts, but that hasn't happened yet where I live.
