hi, settings, notifications, email. you want to most likely put it to no
notification. email will still update, but you will only hear a little
tone, no text. alternatively, it's the GMAIL app, in which case, you
could always turn off notifications for that app entirely.

Yesterday, I asked Serie to launch email and she started Gmail. I don’t
know what I did there or did nothing but ever since, VoiceOver, once in
a while, reads the name of the sender and the part of the email,
probably the subjectline, I am not sure. Perhaps it happens when the
sender uses Gmail account.
It really, bothers me specially when I am listening something on Youtube.
VO reads email when everything is close except YouTube or the app that I
am using at that time.
How can I stop VO from reading the emails, please?
