Hi,
Firstly I don’t believe Apple would ever, ever, ever send you an email from a
support.com domain. Secondly I don’t believe that the word apple would ever be
rendered by them with a space in the middle.
As such I’m gonna go with scam send it to the trash can email immediately. I
hope you didn’t click on any links contained therein. As for the settings in
iTunes if you’re concerned you could always call Apple directly at either their
main toll free number or the one specifically for accessibility issues to
address any remaining concerns but I’m quite confident that this email did not
and would never originate from them. Further I bet if you right click said
email and look at its properties it might not have even come from an email
address ending in an apple.com or even support.com address. Sometimes looking
at that info can be quite revealing indeed. In any case like I said I don’t
think you’ve any need to worry but if you need to for peace of mind’s sake do
contact the real Apple directly.
I hope that helps.
Robin
