Liz, It really depends on what kinds of things you plan to scan as to whether KNFB is worth the price. It is very fast, you can add pages to a document and save it as one file, it has a batch mode so you can scan a bunch of pages and then have them all recognized at once. It has a document stand mode so that after you initiate the first scan, when you move a new page into view, it can automatically detect the new page and take the next picture without you having to touch the phone. If you plan to ever try scanning a book, the ScanJig is not my first choice in stands. Also, if you want good portability in a stand, it is a little bulky. I prefer the Fopydo Scanning stand. I just saw the second generation model, and it is really nice. Also it is only $15. HTH, Richard
