We all have different requirements as well as expectations, I basically always use a headset of some sort, typically the Apple Earpods, when I am out and about so I don’t have to touch my phone to ask SIRI a quick question, just have to push and hold for a moment the centre button of the remote on the headset. I just had a look and I don’t recall that sub menu button being there before the last update, but here I agree that they could label this as “More Info” or something like that. As for the map, I am blind so it never occurred to me to even want to use it, if I want a map to explore by touch Apple Maps is not bad for that. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying the Seeing Eye app is the greatest there is, any app can always be better, but it does work as advertised for me and seems to give consistent information which I find is usually accurate. I have used it on busses in Vancouver and it usually announced cross streets when the bus was just before it got to the intersection which to me is when it makes sense, I don’t want to hear it too early and I don’t want to hear it when the bus is already half way across.
