I haven’t used it in a while as my screen stopped working, so I could not ask for any kind of visual help with anything. Tried finding somewhere to repair the screen, but that was a no go, no one had the parts to fix it. It was an older version of Android and it would not update to a newer version. I think the tablet that I was using was Android 5.1, but I am not sure as it is totally dead now. I am sure they have improved it since then, but it was so frustrating that I just will stick to using my IOS device.

BeSpecular and Be My Eyes are a couple examples. Money Reader is another example. It is really easy to use a Braille display with IOS. Just go into VoiceOver Settings, Braille then pair it. One thing that really annoys me about Android is that from what I understand, each phone is laid out differently because each manufacturer puts its junk on. An iPhone is an iPhone. Once you learn one, you can use any iPhone that you have your hands on. Usually, when I get a new iPhone, I am able to get it set up within an hour or less then go on about my business. What really annoys me about Android is that not every phone gets updates. That means that if I am one of the unlucky people who has a phone that won't get Android O, I just have to read on mailing lists about the kool features while I'm stuck on the earlier version.
