For those with limited storage space on their iDevices who want to use their devices to play their music, I'm recommending the MusicStreamer app by Stratospherix. The app costs $3.99 USD and will give you access to all music on your local computer which is shared over the same wi-fi network. Stratospherix is the same developer of the excellent FileBrowser app which many on the list use. MusicStreamer found all the music in my shared music folder and will handle many music file formats. It is quick and responsive and will let you create playlists and has an offline mode which I expect allows you to transfer music to your device if desired. The app is easily located in the Apps Store when searching for MusicStreamer with no spaces between music and streamer.
