Hi, Mike,

Wow!  What a story, and I'm glad that everything worked out for you.  You 
certainly are great with words!  I did a similar thing with my Book Sense a few 
years back when the bottom of it went into a watering can.  I had the device 
around my neck in a lanyard and when I went to pick up the full watering can, 
the bottom of the Book Sense went kerplop!  Right into the water.  Luckily I 
had everything backed up on an SD card and after sending it in for repairs, I 
was able to restore my data from the card!

Good luck with your new phone and if it wants to go for a swim, put a life 
preserver on it!  LOL!  Take care.
