I don't believe the NLS books should ever be readable in any other app
besides the Bard Mobile. This is a service given to the handicapped in the
US and it is our taxes which pay for it.

I did not check what they charge for the non-iOS voices.
Voice Dream has many great features too that I'm sure they drew on in their
development.
If you wait a little while, you may find Voice Dream Reader also will allow
for adjusting the pause between sentences.
At this point, I'll stick with Voice Dream as I like its layout, but this is
a good option for a lot of folks. It is good to see they work with
Bookshare as well.
Though, I have to question their claim to having the largest accessible
library...

there is newe book reader on appstore called dolphin easy reader, free,
it only requires of login using a dolphin account or sign up for a new
one, also free of charge.
What I find interesting is that while on this new app you can set up a
longer pause in between sentnces (using ios voices), the last VDR update
is uncapable of doing the same thing.
yeah, of course this app needs to be improved, but checking it out
rapidly its interface and settings is really basic and complete at the
same time for being free of charge.
This feature, add a longer pause in between sentences (for ios voices)
is very helpful if you are trying to learn another language.
