If for the last few days, outlook can no longer open the iCloud folder, and is issueing error messages like the one below, I have a fix thanks to a tenacious Apple tech.
“Microsoft Office Outlook Enter a valid path. The set of folders cannot be opened. An unexpected error has occurred. MAPI was unable to load the information service C:\PROGRA~2\COMMON~1\Apple\INTERN~1\APLZOD.dll. Be sure the service is correctly installed and configured. OK” The solution is to Remove kb319 1898 – an update for Outlook 2007 pushed on 6/13/17. This works, but if this doesn’t fit your situation, I’m afraid I have no other ideas. Second, I just got the iPhone 7, and while all of my iCloud contacts are on my phone, it seems I cannot get them to sync with my Windows 10 machine. I was able to get them to sync before when I had the 6s_+. I was able to get them in outlook, and now I cannot. Can anyone make suggestions on any of these problems? Thanks.
