Yes, most of us use that. I prefer a pitch pipe, but they've gone out of
production.

I'm a ukulele player really, they're even easier than a guitar, and have this
reputation of being such fun, to play. Can still get
a big sound from a much smaller instrument. Get a bigger one like Tenor or
Baritone. Like any instrument, spend as much as you can,
it is seldom wasted, short of having been ripped off of course.

But agree with first question, I find Talking Tuner a bit of a drag at times,
but it does do the job. But there are simpler tuners
that are just tone generators to tune to.

I bet Bill Brown does a talk-through type guitar tutorial too, since he does so
many others.

Good morning Karen,

I’m trying to learn how to play the guitar, now for the 3rd time in my life and
without sight.

Would that Talking Tuner you mentioned be good enough to help me in tuning my
Stratocaster?

Are these accessible? ClearTune and iStrobesoft

I have used Talking Tuner for several years, but it does not register the
highest octave on my harp.

Thanks.
