Hi, I posted a few days ago that Withings apparently was bought by Nokia and yesterday an app update was available for the HealthMate and Thermo app which are needed if you have a Withings Body or Body+ scale and/or a Withings Thermo body thermometer. The app now showed as "Nokia Healthmate" and "Nokia Thermo", still two separate apps although there is information about the Thermo also in the HealthMate app. The app was totally changed, it actually is much nicer now, overall I would say it has better accessibility and you can now easily see not just your weight, but Voiceover now also gives you body fat, muscle mass, water percentage and so on which in the old app were visually there but Voiceover did not read them. Unfortunately the app has 5 tabs across the bottom which Voiceover only reads as "Tab 1 of 5", "Tab 2 of 5" and so on. There are also some unlabelled buttons. I worked my way through their website which was not the most intuitive approach in order to send them a message. I did get an email from their support system with the text of my message and any replies I should also receive by email and I can reply to them using that thread. I would highly recommend anybody who has any Withings devices should also contact them and request that accessibility is given some attention in the next update, I think it would actually be fairly easy for them to fix these unlabelled tabs and buttons and all in all I think that if they do this Withings devices are now a lot more accessible.
