Yes, you can, but then you've lost a convenient feature, and all you've done by 
doing this is to duplicate the mute switch (which is more convenient for a 
quick way to silence your phone completely).

Hi Chip,

While it is true that by default do not disturb is set to behave this way, you 
can actually go into the settings and configure it not to allow people to call 
through under any circumstance is. This is why I like this feature a lot 
because it is quite configurable. Take care.
