Hi,
An underscore is the name of the symbol that is used when underlining text.
In Microsoft word yu would select the words you want underlined and hit
control+iu.
I'm not aware of being able to underline a word on the iOS devices.
But, the single underscore character on the iOS keyboard is found in the "more
symbols" section.
When the onscreen keyboard is up, touch where it says more numbers, (or double
tap if you don't have touch typing on) then just above that is a button called
More Symbols.
Activate that and then just above it is the underscore character.

IN computer braille I believe it was dots 4,5,6. I can't remember right now if
that was changed in UEB, but I suspect it was.
I don't have my reference sheet handy.

HTH,
Richard

Subject: underscore in computer braille and in print

I have a really stupid question. What is an underscore, and how do I make it in
braille (computer I think) and print. How do you cover more than one word with
it, and where do I" find it on IOS keyboard? Sorry, couldn't put in one
question. Thanks in advance for the help.
