Apparently Facebook is doing some updating that is seperate of the updates for download & the Facebook changes are occurring in stages for those who use the Facebook app. I had the issue one day last week where when I tapped on the More tab within the Facebook app nothing was displayed. However the next day everything was back to normal. I can't recall if the issue occurred the day before my latest update to Facebook on Aug 25th or the day after I updated the Facebook app.
