Well, as a blind person, I could easily fill up 256GB with music, and have quite a bit of music left over. The Music folder on my laptop, which contains multiple folders inside it, currently takes up 369GB. I have an iPad Mini 4 with 128GB on it, and I'd love to have 256, or even 512GB. I would also love it if I could use SD cards or something like that, but as it is, I have to transfer selected portions of music instead of all of it. The more memory the better! Of course, that assumes that I can afford 512GB of solid storage, which I can't right now, even if I had the option, and my iPad is only a year and a half old, so I have no desire to replace it yet. But when the time comes, I'll get all the memory I can afford; unless, of course, I switch to Android by then, in which case, I won't need all the onboard memory I can afford because I'll be able to pop SD cards in and out.

What bums me out about this year's eight and 8+, or for that matter I think it's also true for the X, is that they've done away with the 128 GB model. You're either stuck with 64 or you have to pay for 256. I have 128 GB 7+, and it is more than half full, but nowhere near totally full. As a blind person, who does not video, I can't imagine having the need for 256 GB and it does not thrill me to have to pay more for something I really don't need, but 64 isn't enough. Since Apple doesn't do storage cards, oh how I wish they did, this is kind of a drag. Last year, they offered 32, ridiculous, 128 and 256. I just wish they would've kept the three tier structure for this year and presumably subsequent years as well.

Thanks Mary and Sieghard for that.

One of the main reasons I want to get the larger phone is battery.

My 7 is pretty much dead come 7 Pm.

if I am going out for the evening I need to use Apples smart case.

I have the plus, and I don't think I have particularly huge hands, being a woman, whose hands are generally smaller than many men's. And I agree that
if you're trying to actually hold the phone, not have it on any sort of
surface, it's really hard if not impossible to use it with one hand. But
if it's laying on your lap or a table or the arm of the chair and you're
sitting in that chair, then I don't have a problem using just one hand. Of
course, you couldn't use braille keyboard input with just one hand, that
would be true for any of the phones I would think. The reason I finally
got the larger size was because of larger battery. I would rather have the
smaller size, but the big battery has made a significant difference for
me, so the trade-off is worth it.

Is it easy to use with one hand?

Thanks for any answers.
