I believe Amazon audio books are the same as Audible audio books, as they own Audible.
I love Audible, and have signed up using Amazon, for their "one credit per month" for $15 plan (1 credit gets you one book regardless of its price). You can listen to Audible books using an iPhone app or using your pc or using something like a Victor Reader Stream (although this requires you to download the book to your pc and then transfer it to the Victor). I use my Victor usually. Take note that if you sign up for the automatic buy one or two credits per month plans, you can only keep 6 bcredits rolling over from month to month, so if you don't pay attention you will be charged for that seventh credit, but you just lose it. If you have 6 credits and don't know what you want to buy, you have to stop your automatic purchase plan, switch to a maintenance membership (which costs $10 one time), and then they will stay there for up to a year for you to decide to use them. My question is where is the best place to get them? Are things like amazon audio books accessible? If so what's the best app to play them on? If i were to buy an audio book, is amazon a good place, and what would you recommend for apps? Cheers, Jed -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
