Good evening everyone.

Thank you for your responses. After I wrote my e-mail I started having other
issues in the mail app. When I went to press the up arrow to delete a thread,
some would delete. Other times the curser would jump back to where it says
mail edit. So, I decided to call apple support. Here is what they suggested.
Go into settings. Go to where it says accounts and pass words. Double tap
there. Now go to the email account giving me issues. Turn it off. Then I was
told to turn off the keyboard and phone. After I turned them on I went back to
settings back to accounts and pass words and turned the email account back on
and everything works as normal like it did before the update. Now, my function
keys don’t work the way they did before the update. So, I’m going to play
tomorrow and see if I can figure it out. If I get them working again I will
write to the list to let you know. Thank you again.

Connie

Hi,

I am noticing this same behavior with the keyboard not being as responsive. I
can use my arrows okay, but I can't press dedicated home buttons or lock
buttons. Not sure why.

Good morning everyone.
I'm using a 6S and an iPod 6 generation. I'm in ios 11. Has anyone noticed
the arrow keys don't work anymore as they used to in the previous IOS this
is in the mail app on my phone and iPod. I can't use my up and down arrow
keys to read a thread of messages. Sometimes I'm able to delete a message
or threads of messages using the up arrow other times I can't. Another
issue I'm having is I could press the home key and it would allow me to back
out of an app. I'm not able to in IOS 11. I have tried turning the
keyboard and the devices off and turning them back on but nothing changed.
I sure hope there is a solution to these issues or that I'm not the only
keyboard user who is having these issues. Can keyboards become obsolete?
Thank you for any help or suggestions.
