I used update through itunes on a regular basis with good results.
However, the last three times I did this the phone went in to a mode
where itunes would not see it. The message on the screen as reported
by the tech at the store each time was connect to itunes.
Unfortunately, at this point, I would not get any feedback from the
phone or the computer when the phone was connected. I've no
explanation for this, this is just what occurred. Someone told me it
might have been in DFu mode. All the best, Brian
