Hi Mark and Sieghard,

I also haven't experienced problems with VoiceOver other than the watch locking 
more often while I'm doing things. I'm hoping that some of this is the result 
of using a first generation watch; I'm getting a new one tomorrow, so I'll know 
better about that shortly.

I don't use the apps you mentioned, but Pedometer++ is tracking steps just fine.
