Jonathan's books never talk about bugs from the beta cycle or bugs which still
make it into the public release. His book is about features of iOS and how to
use them, how often should he update it as these bugs get worked out and it's
not like he doesn't have other channels like his website and Blind Side podcast
where he often talks about this in addition to the folks from Applevis who are
always a good resource on release day. In all fairness nobody should upgrade
without reading their report and people who aren't necessarily power users or
who dislike change should not even upgrade until a couple of weeks have passed
and they followed the discussions on this list and maybe asked questions.

Regards,
Sieghard

Yes, I have and have read his book. But as you know, the book was totally
silent about all of the issues with the new braille. So I thought it would be
worth it to ask about experiences here on the list from people who have used
the publicly available release version.
