Hi

There is 2 ways that a type 1 diabetic can use their iDevice to monitor their
blood glucose levels. The first is the One Touch Reveal blood glucose meter.
When the meter is paired with an iDevice, after pricking your finger to test
your blood glucose level the result will be displayed in the One Touch Reveal
app & saved in the Health app. The second option is having a CGM, continious
glucose monitor. The CGM, Dexcom 4 uses a stand alone app. When the G4 is pared
with an iDevice the results display in the G4 app. The Dexcom G5 app works the
same way except the info in the G5 app is shared in the Health app. The Dexcom
requires some sight to operate & use. My 13 year old son is a T1 diabetic. He
has an insulin pump & a CGM. I'll answer any questions that you may have.
