You need to do that from the web site which you can get to using Safari. You need to make use of the edit button near the top of the list. First of all, get to the page of your list where the item or items you want to get rid of are. Next, hit that edit button. That will cause delete buttons to appear next to all of the titles on that page. If you go to another page, you'll need to hit the edit button again. Hope that helps.
