Yes, Apple has acted pretty fast on this one and just as Jonathan and most others I was quite vocal about this issue both in writing to Apple Accessibility and in making the argument here on the list. I am running the iOS 11.1 public beta and just that day before public beta 2 came out (yesterday later in the day) I had accidently deleted at least 3 emails and each time I was sort of grinding my teeth at this nonsensicle change. I know 2 or 3 people thought all of us were just winers who should just get with the program and be happy with what Apple throws us, but I think Jonathan explained how this is not the case.
