Greetings. I am having a big problem adding my wife to a family
profile in the Uber app. I used to be able to do this a couple of
years ago and had my wife on my profile, but for whatever reason it is
not working now. We both have iPhone 7 Plusses and use iOS 11. She is
sighted and I'm using VoiceOver. I can create the profile just fine,
but the problem comes when I send her an invite to the profile. She
gets the invite on her phone, can open the email, hit join the family
profile link, and will get a confirmation message that she has joined
the profile. However, when she then goes into the Uber app, she learns
that the profile was not successfully created. I've directed her to
look in Settings in the family section, and when she does, she reports
that she is prompted to create a family profile. We are using the same
credit card in our different profiles, and she even dropped the credit
card and put in her debit card, but no change. Any ideas? I would love
to have her on my family profile since our car is going through some
issues, and she will need to use Uber to get around town until the car
is fixed.
