I'm from California and have used the British Male Siri voice from the time it was first available and have had no issues with Siri understanding me. I did not know about the Voice Mail Transcription issue until this thread. So, in my case on my iPhone 6s for work, I've not had transcriptions. I guess I now know why. Richard
