Hi Simon, I assume you are using a Mac, since you can only copy between an iPhone and a computer if that computer is a Mac. The Mac needs to be running at least sierra, and Handoff needs to be working between the computer and phone. To make sure Handoff is working, try opening a page in Safari on your phone. Then Command-Tab on your computer and make sure "Safari from my iPHone" is an available option. If not, make sure Bluetooth is on on both devices, that they're connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and Handoff is on on both devices.
