What kind of on/off switch does the 5200 have? I like my old Voyager legend because it has a mechanical on/off switch.

The Edge also comes with a little cradle which securely holds the earpiece and which has a built-in battery sop if the cradle is charged it will fully charge your Edge at least once. It has four mics instead of three with all the other bells and whistles that go into the voyager line. It’s supposed to have seven hours of talk time. So far, I’ve actually found it to be quite comfortable. Much more than the legend. It is huge though. I mean, think of a massive hearing aid attached to a transformer plastered on the side of your face huge. It is no where near as discrete as the edge. That and the edge is super simple to slip on and take off. Also, if you wear glasses, I don’t know how you’d be able to use the 5200. The edge gives me no problems in this regard. Be it sunglasses or if I wish to use my trekz headset at the same time with the edge. There is the Plantronics 3200 which is the newer version of the Edge and I think I may give that one a try. I work from home and sound quality is an absolute necesity for me and while the 5200 feels pretty solid so far and has one extra mic, man,… the size… It seems that the 3200 also has seven hours of talk time. My experience with the edge at least is that I can usually get away with two days in between charging since it’s not like I’ve got it streaming audio six or seven hours straight. When I got my voyager edge, it also came with the charging case that is supposed to give you up to two more full charges. I think in the time I’ve owned it however, I’ve used it maybe twice. I can’t recall the last time I was out and about and needed to charge my edge on the go. I’m parcial to the Plantronics earpieces for many reasons, ut one of them is that they still use an on/off switch instead of a button you have to press and hold to turn on and off. Normal use for me is reading E mail, going to web sites and searching for travel items. I find when I am out and about walking I prefer to just use a single earpiece headset, even if I use the wired Earpods I always just put in the right side when I’m walking. They don’t block much sound, but they still block a bit so having one ear completely free makes a big difference in my opinion. I have the Voyager Edge which sits only in the outer part of the ear like the Earpods or Airpods and I find it blocks only maybe 20% of the sound if that. There is no such thing as a bluetooth headset without lag, but the Voyager Edge is about as good as they get. So don’t want that when waling and surely don’t want any lag time either when needing to use them. I own a great sounding awsome pair of Plantronics Bluetooth headphones; but, notice have a lag time between the time you access them to connect to the iPhone 8 to access Siri. But, besides that love the sound quality of them and noise cancelling capability too. So would want to try and find somethg that would compare. Thanks.
