Hi, I have an iPhone 7 running IOS 11.2 which I often run with my Braille Sense U2 as a Braille display, and I really like how the U2 is very handy when writing lengthy emails, Facebook posts and texts. But lately I’ve been running into situations where I place the cursor somewhere in the middle of the display, press space with dots 1, 4 and 5 to backspace over a character and poof! The whole damn message up to my cursor position is gone. This happens in the mail app, on facebook, when I’m texting, et cetera and it’s hard to predict when it will happen, but when it does, I have to rewrite everything up to that point all over again and it’s frustrating as hell. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a bug or am I using the wrong command? Is there a Braille shortcut for the undo command to try to restore the deleted text?
While I’m on the subject of Braille, I’ve noticed something else, too. My attorney loves to send me .pdf copies of a variety of legal documents for review; they are inaccessible so I have to import them into KNFB Reader to OCR and read them, but here’s the rub. I like to read them in Braille, again using the U2, but I seldom get more than a word or two on the display at any given time. What can I do about that? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
