A few friends have reported that they are having a lot of trouble with the Amazon Alexa app, particularly with regard to accessing information about skills and enabling them. They are reporting that it is hit or miss, usually miss, and say that they cannot add from the Amazon Skills store because of the same issues many of us are having with Amazon in general; it constantly says “loading” and dialog boxes keep popping up. I suggested trying adding through the skills store on the Amazon iPhone app, but they are saying it is frustrating that if they have to use their iPhone, they should be able to use the app made specifically for what they want to do. I tend to agree. Is anyone else having issues, and if so, can anyone offer some tips for me to offer? Christine P.S. One issue in particular seems to be finding and adding news items to the “flash briefing”.
