I am running this app with an iPhone 5S with iOS 10; that is all about to be upgraded at some point soon. So I can’t speak to if it even works in version 11.
Most of the buttons and tabs seem to speak. I usually use the radio tab and swipe over to the list of states and provinces, which will list the available stations. I can enter a state, such as Florida, where I happen to live, and go through the list of stations and double tap the button for the staion I want, for example Daytona Beach, which is my local station. It doesn’t have every station in the system, but it does have quite a selection. Sometimes you have to be aware of where the station might be located, for example, if you were looking for Cincinnati, you would not find it in Ohio since the station is over the river in Covington, Kentucky, so it is in that list. I discovered that when I was chedcking weather for the Cubs vs. Reds baseball series last week. When you open a station it should automatically play, and then you can swipe right over to pause to stop the broadcast when you are done, which is announced. I had originally found this app through ViA, which was an accessible app guide app from the Braill Institute of Los Angeles which I used to have on my phone. I took ViA off my phone as it was taking up a small amount of space, I wasn’t really using it any more and I was unsure it it would survive transitioning to iOS 11. So it seems to be a handy app to have around; I hope it survives the upgrade. Bill Outman From: 'Ray T.
