I just took a picture of a recipe my wife printed out and KNFB Reader read it perfectly, at one point it said "Citrantro" instead of "Cilantro", but that was the only mistake on a full page of print I could detect. Make sure your lens is clean? If it is and you still have trouble I would delete KNFB Reader and reinstall it.
