Hello folks, I am thinking of ordering a brailliant BI Braille display to use with my iPhone and iPad. From the description it sounds like a nice neat device. However, I like to know if it can be used as a stand-alone device, not merely a display. The Human ware description states that it can be used as a stand-alone device, but it does not say much on what it can do in this mode other than taking notes and having a timer and a stop watch. That is not that attractive. I like to know what else it can do in the stand alone mode. Does it have a calculator? Does it have a microphone and recording capabilities? Does it have an audio player? Does it have a web browser and could it connect to the wi-fi? If anyone can tell me more about it I will extremely appreciate it.
