Hello I don’t often read books on what used to be iBooks, however, when I do have to use the Books IOS app, I much prefer to use the speak screen facility.
I bought a book last week and tried to use speak screen and the reading was interrupted at the end of every page by Voiceover announcing the page number. I wouldn’t have minded so much if Siri had paused narration, but VO is speaking right over him. It hasn’t done that before and I wondered if there was a setting I had accidentally messed up? While I am on the subject of the app formerly known as iBooks, I sincerely hope that the HomePod will learn how to read them. Kindle has become a serious option for book reading since Alexa developed the ability to read books. Best Adrienne -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
