Hi, I'm new to the list and just about ready to go IPhone. I was thinking 8 or maybe even 5. What is the SE?

The iPhone X did not do nearly as well for Apple as I am sure they had hoped and I wouldn't be surprised if last year's iPhone X is going to be completely discontinued this fall with iPhone 8 and 8 Plus remaining but of course at a lower price, then maybe the iPhone 7 will also stay as an entry-level phone and there will of course be the new 8S and 8S Plus or whatever they will be called. Whether there will be another 4 inch phone like the SE is questionable. I also wanted to try the new gestures and then I wanted to see if I could unlock my phone with facial I'd. I will say I am really glad I did get the ten. I was using the eight plus and after using the ten and holding the ten, the plus is huge. I really like the feel in my hand. I also really like the gestures. In regards to battery life the ten is not bad. There again I keep screen curtain on and raise to wake disabled. I am able to get around twenty four hours before I have to recharge my phone.
