Hi:

I think I can help you solve this.

In your itunes library there is a file called
Ituneslibrary.itl
Copy this file to your desktop or where ever you want to keep it.

Probably moveing the file would be a better choise.

Once that is done delete the itunes library.itl file out of the itunes library.

Launch itunes and itunes will rescan your songs.

Hope this helps.

The bottom line is put the original itunes library.itl somewhere just in case
something happens with process

If all else fails you do have a previous library folder in itunes and in that
directory there is a file called itunes library.itl
Have a good day.

Subject: ITunes's library has missing tracks

As to take full advantage of our iPhone's native music app, I'm uploading
albums onto my 5s (and making playlists out of these) that aren't found on
Spotify, but I didn't realize that when you import to ITunes, you shouldn't
delete them off the computer, because as happened last night, ITunes alerts you
that it won't symc material because it's no longer there? Aside from deleting
the albums of the ITunes library, and redoing the playlists from scratch, what
would you guys suggest I do to get the missing music into its place again
wihtin the ITunes library, now that I've put it onto my computer again? Thanks
for tips you guys with more experience in this matter might have.
