Hi: I think I can help you solve this.
In your itunes library there is a file called Ituneslibrary.itl Copy this file to your desktop or where ever you want to keep it. Probably moveing the file would be a better choise. Once that is done delete the itunes library.itl file out of the itunes library. Launch itunes and itunes will rescan your songs. Hope this helps.
