Greetings. I tried pairing a Focus 40 Blue 5th Generation from work to
my iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 11.3.1. The pairing went fine, but when I
tried to use the iOS Braille commands on the display, I did not get
any feedback. For instance, I used Space with Dot 4 to move forward by
screen item, and Space with Dot 1 to go in reverse, and the display
never updated to show the item I was moving to. I tried flicking on my
iPhone and that worked as expected, and the display updated as I
moved. The only command that worked on the Focus was using a routing
button above the cells to activate an item, but none of the other keys
or commands worked. I want to lend this display to a student to use
with their iPhone 6 S, but if the display is having issues then I may
have second thoughts. Do I need to do any firmware updates on the
display to make it compatible or work with iOS? I wouldn't have
thought so but just wondering what the issue could be.

Thanks,
Wayne Merritt
