Hi, I have an iPhone 4s and am using IOS6. I have my hotmail account configured on the iPhone. I don’t want the phone checking for emails unless I go into mail and check myself. I have push turned off and manually selected for how it checks emails but whenever I turn on my phone, I hear the sounder telling me that there is new mail and when I go to the mail account the new mail is there. How do I make it so unless I go into the app and check it will not do this. I also have an Ipod touch with the same settings enabled and it is doing what I want so why the difference with the phone?
